Aussie ace Brady Kurtz stormed to his first FIM Speedway Grand Prix victory in the Events.com FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow on Saturday.
The 2024 FIM SGP Challenge winner reached his fifth final in six rounds in a remarkable Speedway GP debut season. And he celebrated it by triumphing ahead of title rival, Polish icon Bartosz Zmarzlik, with Great Britain star Dan Bewley third and Sweden’s Fredrik Lindgren fourth.
Victory for Kurtz sees him keep Zmarzlik’s pre-weekend Speedway GP World Championship lead at 11 points with four rounds to race after the Pole collected two points for third place in Saturday afternoon’s sprint race.
