AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP RETURNS TO SYDNEY FOR 2027

The 2027 Australian Championship series is set for a grand finale in Sydney on January 9.

Western Sydney Speedway will host the final round of the four-round championship – marking the iconic city’s first Australian Championship event in 19 years.

Western Sydney Speedway – located south of Sydney Motorsport Park and adjacent to Sydney Dragway – was officially opened in 2022 and in late 2025 hosted its first solo motorcycle event won by Speedway GP star and reigning Aussie champion Jack Holder.

The Australian Championship series opens in Mildura on January 2, with Adelaide venue Gillman hosting round two on January 4 and Albury-Wodonga hosting the third event on January 7.
