American racer Luke Becker has extended his stay with Danish side Esbjerg into 2026.
The Californian joined the Vikings in 2019 and played a pivotal role in their 2023 Speedwayligaen title win. After an injury-hit 2025 season, he can’t wait to continue in Esbjerg colours.
He said: “Esbjerg has been a club that I've really enjoyed being a part of since joining them back in 2019. The management, staff and everyone involved have been nothing but great to deal with and very professional, making it easy for me to make the decision to stay in 2026.
“The team is shaping up very well and I truly believe that we have what it takes to achieve our goals in the new season. See you all at the track in the new year and I hope everyone has a great winter!”
Elsewhere, former Danish champion Rasmus Jensen will lead Holsted’s challenge in 2026 and 2027 after penning a new two-year contract.
