Polish international Piotr Pawlicki will join older brother Przemyslaw in Grindsted colours in the 2025 Danish Speedwayligaen.
Pawlicki has not raced in the league since he competed for Esbjerg in 2015 and can’t wait to test himself on Danish shale once again.
He told Grindsted’s Facebook page: “I’m happy to be back in the Danish league and excited to be racing for Grindsted.
“A big influence on my decision to return to the Danish league was the fact that my brother is also riding here.
“Additionally, I haven’t raced on Danish tracks for a long time, so this will be a challenging experience, but that’s exactly what I need.
“My goal is to score the best possible points for Grindsted and help the team go as far as we can in the league, aiming for the play-offs and the finals.
“As a professional athlete, I always give my best effort for the team and strive to perform at the highest level. That’s definitely my goal for the upcoming season.”
The Pawlicki brothers join forces with the likes of former Speedway GP star Kenneth Bjerre, 2024 SGP2 riders Mathias Pollestad and Villads Nagel and Robert Chmiel.
Elsewhere, Esbjerg has added Danish youngster Niklas Holm Jakobsen to their squad for 2025.
