DOYLE MAKES KROSNO MOVE IN POLAND

Aussie icon Jason Doyle has already confirmed his next destination in Poland after penning a two-year pre-contract with Krosno.

Doyle represented the club during its season in the PGE Ekstraliga in 2023 and returns at Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga level, determined to fire the team back into the top flight.

The 39-year-old spent this season with Czestochowa, ending his season with a 15-point maximum away to Gorzow in the play-off to avoid relegation – ensuring the Lions’ top-tier survival.

Doyle feels he has unfinished business at Krosno. In the club’s Instagram post, he said: “In Krosno, I always felt very good, and I had great contact with the fans. Our cooperation in the 2023 season was exemplary, but I know we could have achieved more together.

“That's why, when the opportunity to return presented itself, I didn't think for a long time. I want to win here, help the team and be part of a project that has a clear goal – to advance to the PGE Ekstraliga. I believe we can do it together. I will do my best.”
