Aussie racer Jason Doyle was taken to hospital for checks after crashing out of Polish club Czestochowa’s 48-42 PGE Ekstraliga loss at home to Zielona Gora on Sunday.
Doyle crashed in heat 14 after being caught by Falubaz star Rasmus Jensen. The fall comes just over a week after he suffered a dislocated hip during the Orlen Oil FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Warsaw on May 17.
He now faces a race against time to be fit for the FIM Speedway GP of Czech Republic – Prague this Saturday evening.
Despite a 14-point tally from former Speedway GP winner Piotr Pawlicki, Zielona Gora raced to a priceless away win, inspired by a 13 paid 14-point haul from former Lions star Leon Madsen. He was well supported by 13 from Przemyslaw Pawlicki.
The day’s other meeting between Gorzow and Lublin was postponed due to an adverse weather forecast. For full details of the weekend’s PGE Ekstraliga results, scorers and the latest league table, CLICK HERE.
