Elsewhere, new world No.2 Brady Kurtz blazed to a 14 paid 15-point maximum for Wroclaw as they put one hand on the PGE Ekstraliga bronze medals with a thumping 61-29 win at home to Grudziadz in the third-place play-off, first leg.

Former Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta racked up 11 paid 12 for Wroclaw, with world No.3 Dan Bewley adding 10 paid 13 and Maciej Janowski notching nine paid 12.
