EKSTRALIGA | MICHELSEN STARS AS TORUN RUNS RIOT IN RYBNIK

Last year’s WWK FIM Speedway GP of Germany – Landshut winner Mikkel Michelsen heads back to the OneSolar Arena on a high after inspiring Torun to a 58-32 victory away to Rybnik in the PGE Ekstraliga on Tuesday.

Michelsen dropped just one point to an opponent from five rides, scoring 13 paid 14 points as he warms up for Saturday’s Speedway GP opener in Germany – at the venue where he picked up his first-ever SGP win in May 2024.

He was brilliantly backed up by Speedway GP second substitute Patryk Dudek and former world No.3 Emil Sayfutdinov, who both bagged 12 paid 13, while world No.2 Robert Lambert added 11. Czech rider Jan Kvech collected six paid seven points.

Double Aussie champion Rohan Tungate was Rybnik’s leading scorer on 10 paid 11 points.
