EKSTRALIGA | PAWLICKI MAX SECURES FALUBAZ'S TOP-FLIGHT STATUS

Polish racer Przemyslaw Pawlicki powered to a 15-point maximum as Zielona Gora guaranteed their PGE Ekstraliga status for 2026 with a 58-32 victory at home to Rybnik on Friday.

Pawlicki reeled off five wins as Falubaz claimed a 102-78 aggregate success, forcing Rybnik to contest the relegation play-down against the loser of the tie between Czestochowa and Gorzow, which concludes on Sunday, with the Lions holding a 48-42 lead from the first leg.

The defeated team in the play-down match will be relegated to Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga for 2026, with the winner facing second-tier runners-up in a play-off for the final 2026 PGE Ekstraliga spot.

Danish racer Leon Madsen, who has secured his Speedway GP place for 2026, scored 11 points for Zielona Gora, with his compatriot Rasmus Jensen tallying 10. Former SGP2 silver medallist Damian Ratajczak registered eight paid 12.

Double World Under-21 champion Maksym Drabik tallied 10 for Rybnik, with Aussie racer Rohan Tungate adding eight paid nine.
