FIM OCEANIA LINE-UP NAMED

FIM Oceania champion Rohan Tungate returns to Adelaide track Gillman to defend his continental crown on January 11.

The highest-placed Australian rider in the FIM Oceania Championship is guaranteed a spot in the 2026 Speedway GP qualification rounds, along with the top two riders in the four-round Australian Championship series, which takes place across four rounds early next month.

Tungate is among the frontrunners for the FIM Oceania title once again, joining 2024 winner Jaimon Lidsey, as well as Ben Cook, former Aussie Under-21 champion Keynan Rew and 2025 SGP2 rider Mitchell McDiarmid.

New Australian Under-21 champion and 2024 SGP3 silver medallist Beau Bailey also competes along with former Aussie Championship runner-up Justin Sedgmen, former SGP3 rider Jordy Loftus and former road racing star Reid Battye.

The event features a number of overseas riders, including seven-time British champion Scott Nicholls, FIM North America champion Luke Becker, Britain’s former SGP2 star Leon Flint and his compatriot Luke Harrison. Nicolas Hohlbein also represents the USA, while Jake Turner and Ben Whalley fly the New Zealand flag in Adelaide.
