New FIM Speedway global promoter Mayfield Sports Events would like to wish all of our fans, riders, partners and stakeholders around the world a very Happy New Year.
As the FIM Speedway World Championship celebrates its 90th anniversary following the first-ever World Final at Wembley in 1936, we look forward to another epic battle for Speedway GP gold as Poland’s Bartosz Zmarzlik chases a record-breaking seventh world title. But he faces huge competition from a strong 2026 line-up.
This year also marks the return of the FIM Speedway World Cup for the first time since 2023, with the PZM FIM SWC Final taking place at Warsaw’s iconic PGE Narodowy on August 29 – potentially the biggest crowd to witness an FIM Speedway world team final in half a century.
Wherever you are ringing in the new year, we wish you a happy, healthy, successful and peaceful 2026 season.
