Swedish SGP2 star Philip Hellstrom-Bangs steps up into Poland's PGE Ekstraliga with Czestochowa in 2025.
Hellstrom-Bangs underlined his considerable promise on the world stage this year, taking fifth place in the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship.
He finished fourth at the opening SGP2 round in Malilla, as well as inspiring Sweden to the silver medals at the FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 event with 23 points in Manchester, where only a costly disqualification against Poland denied his side gold.
Hellstrom-Bangs is eligible occupy Czestochowa’s under-24 position along with Wiktor Lampart. They also team up with the likes of 2017 Speedway GP world champion Jason Doyle, Polish stars Piotr Pawlicki and Kacper Woryna and Danish racer Mads Hansen.
