HOLDER: TIME FOR A CHANGE

Aussie racer Jack Holder admitted “it was time for a change” in Poland as he swaps Lublin for Gorzow in the PGE Ekstraliga this season.

Holder joined Lublin from Torun in 2023, winning back-to-back league titles in 2023 and 2024, as well as helping them to the silver medal last year.

He returns to Gorzow’s Edward Jancarz Stadium, where he last competed as a guest during the Covid-19-affected 2020 season.

While Holder enjoyed his stint in Lublin, he admitted: “It was time for a change. There was no bad blood with Lublin. They have been an awesome club to me over the last few years.

“I sort of learned my lesson when I stayed at Torun for so long and then finally changed. It was like a new lease of life.

“I want to try something new, and I like the Gorzow track. The move came at the right time, and I am looking forward to what’s to come. I am looking forward to seeing how the year goes, and I think I’ll be in for a good one.”
