Speedway GP star Dominik Kubera has been named as wild card for the International Individual Ekstraliga Championship (IMME) in Lodz on March 28 after winning a restaged public vote.
The Pole picked up 43 percent of the vote to take his place alongside Speedway GP rivals six-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, 2025 winner Michael Jepsen Jensen, European champion Patryk Dudek, world No.2 Brady Kurtz, double European champion Leon Madsen and two-time FIM Speedway of Nations world champion Jack Holder.
The vote was restarted after concerns over bot votes were raised by PGE Ekstraliga bosses.
This saw Kubera triumph ahead of Danish young gun Villads Nagel (25%), SGP star Dan Bewley (23%) and triple Danish champion Anders Thomsen (9%).
Also in action in a meeting named after Polish great Zenon Plech are 2021 Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta, plus former SGP riders Emil Sayfutdinov, Mikkel Michelsen, Martin Vaculik and brothers Przemyslaw and Piotr Pawlicki.
The line-up is completed by double World Under-21 champion Maksym Drabik, plus 2024 SGP2 world champion Wiktor Przyjemski and 2023 SGP2 silver medallist Damian Ratajczak.
Przyjemski is seeded into the meeting after winning the Red Bull Junior Aces, while Ratajczak joins him as the next best junior in the 2025 PGE Ekstraliga.
