KVECH HAILS COACH HANCOCK AFTER CALIFORNIA TRIP

Czech charger Jan Kvech hailed American icon Greg Hancock after getting some priceless coaching from the four-time Speedway GP world champion in California.

The Prague star jetted across the Atlantic to train with the 21-time SGP winner, and Kvech hopes the experience will help him take the next step following his Speedway GP debut season in 2024.

Posting on Facebook, the Torun recruit wrote: “Thank you for the opportunity to train in sunny California. It was an incredible time, full of challenges, new experiences, and inspiring people.

“I’m grateful to have been part of this amazing place and to have learned from the best. This experience will always stay with me and will surely influence my future growth, both personally and in my sports career.

“This trip allowed me to focus on improving my skills and taking my speedway career to the next level. Every training session and every new experience brings me closer to achieving my sporting goals.

“I’m truly grateful for the chance to work in such great conditions and for the people who support me on this journey.

“Thank you for your support, motivation, and valuable guidance, Greg. It means a lot to me and gives me even more strength to keep fighting for my dreams!”

Kvech will hope to build on a fine finish to 2024, which saw him reach his first-ever SGP semi-final at the DeWalt FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Torun.
