Danish rising star Villads Nagel has extended his contract with Grindsted for the 2026 Speedwayligaen season.
The former SGP2 rider helped his country win FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 silver in Torun last month and achieved a 1.640 average in the Danish league – the highest of the nation’s under-21s.
He said: “I'm super excited to be back in Grindsted in 2026. After a year with lots of riding time and my first full year in the Danish league, I am very satisfied with what the team and I have achieved. I'm ready to take another step next year. See you on the track in Grindsted.”
Elsewhere, Danish star Nicolai Klindt has completed a return to Holsted, where he last raced in 2019. After leaving for Vojens club Sønderjylland Elite Speedway, he has spent the past two seasons with his hometown team Region Varde in Outrup.
