Polish sensation Maksymilian Pawelczak will make his Danish debut with Speedwayligaen champions Slangerup in 2026.
Pawelczak won the 2024 SGP3 gold medal, before making a sensational FIM Speedway of Nations – SON2 debut for Poland last October, scoring 24 points as his country finished fourth in Torun.
The 16-year-old starred for Bydgoszcz in the end-of-season play-offs in the Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga and is tipped to play a key role in the Polish club’s PGE Ekstraliga promotion hopes.
Now he also gets the chance to push for Danish glory as Slangerup seeks a third straight league title.
Pawelczak is joined in Slangerup by the likes of Speedway GP stars Patryk Dudek and Michael Jepsen Jensen, 2012 Speedway GP world champion Chris Holder and local favourite Mikkel Michelsen.
Elsewhere, Grindsted has added Polish rider Oskar Polis to its squad.
