SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski raced to his first Polish Under-21 Championship as 2024 SGP3 champion Maksymilian Pawelczak stormed to a sensational second place in home city Bydgoszcz on Thursday evening.
Lublin rider Przyjemski returned to boyhood club Bydgoszcz and blazed through the card with a 15-point maximum.
A first or second place in the Deluxe Homeart FIM SGP2 of Denmark – Vojens on September 12 will see him seal his second straight FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship and cap a terrific 2025 season in style.
He wasn’t the only local hero who impressed. Pawelczak is still only 15 years old, meaning he is ineligible for senior competition until his birthday on September 21.
But he looks set to be a real star in 2026 after racking up 13 points at the Polonia Stadium to seal the silver medal.
Former SGP2 star Bartosz Banbor completed the podium, winning a run-off with former SGP3 rider Kacper Mania after the pair tied on 12 points.
Current SGP2 racer Kevin Malkiewicz was fifth on 10, with 2023 SGP2 silver medallist Damian Ratajczak tied on eight points with Pawel Sitek and Kacper Lobodzinski.
Last year’s champion Jakub Krawczyk finished 11th on five points, with current SGP2 rider Antoni Mencel scoring four and Jan Przanowski picking up one.
