Polish racer Damian Ratajczak has signed a three-year contract to stay with PGE Ekstraliga side Zielona Gora until 2028.
Ratajczak joined Falubaz from hometown club Leszno last winter, averaging 1.750 points per race in 2025. Next season will be his last as an under-21 rider, meaning he will make the transition into the club’s top five in 2027. Before then, he also has one last chance to qualify for SGP2 in 2026.
The 20-year-old joins forces with Speedway GP stars Andzejs Lebedevs, Dominik Kubera and Leon Madsen, as well as the likes of Oskar Hurysz, Mitchell McDiarmid and Michal Curzytek.
Ratajczak told Falubaz.com: “I believe that as a team, we can achieve a lot. Together with the club, we are committed to stable development, and this contract is proof of that.
"The club has shown great trust in me from the start, and the fans have given me a fantastic welcome, for which I am very grateful.”
Zielona Gora president Adam Golinski commented: “Damian is one of the pillars of our team and a rider who can compete with the best. He has shown this on the track many times this season, and I'm convinced that's not all he's capable of. His progress is impressive
“We're glad he's staying with us for the long term. This is an important step towards building a strong, stable team for years to come.”
