Britain’s Rowe Motor Oil Premiership season launches on March 30 after the long-awaited 2026 fixture list was released.
The opening weeks of the season features Premiership Knockout Cup action with the six clubs split into two groups. Belle Vue, Sheffield and holders Leicester race in the northern section, with league champions Ipswich, King’s Lynn and debutants Northampton competing in the southern section.
Former Premiership champions Belle Vue, led by Speedway GP stars Brady Kurtz and Dan Bewley, meet a Jack Holder-spearheaded Sheffield side in KO Cup northern-section action at Manchester’s National Speedway Stadium on March 30, with the return taking place at Tigers’ Owlerton home on April 2.
KO Cup holders Leicester begin their defence of the trophy away to Belle Vue at noon on Easter Monday, April 6, before staging the return leg at the Hydroscand Arena later that day at 7.30pm.
Reigning Rowe Motor Oil Premiership champions Ipswich start their season at home to East Anglian rivals King’s Lynn, who are led by SGP star Max Fricke, on April 9, with the teams facing off in the return at the Adrian Flux Arena on April 13.
Premiership newcomers Northampton race their first two matches on the road, heading to King’s Lynn on April 20, before travelling to Ipswich on April 23.
Northampton then stage their historic opening night at their Brafield home, with Ipswich providing the opposition on April 30.
The opening Rowe Motor Oil Premiership meeting of the season comes in Manchester, as Belle Vue meet champions Ipswich on April 20 in a rerun of last season’s play-off semi-final.
