Speedway GP substitute stars Kai Huckenbeck and Mathias Pollestad will race for Speedway European Championship success after receiving permanent wild cards for the 2026 series, alongside former British champion Adam Ellis.
Ellis fell just a point short of qualification at the SEC Challenge in Lonigo last Saturday, while Huckenbeck missed out by two. Pollestad completes the line-up for the SEC series – the winner of which earns a 2027 Speedway GP spot.
Reigning European champion Patryk Dudek defends his title, and he is joined in the SEC series by Speedway GP rivals Andzejs Lebedevs, Leon Madsen, Kacper Woryna, Nazar Parnitskyi and Michael Jepsen Jensen, who all qualified by finishing in last season’s top six.
They are joined by SEC Challenge top six Jan Kvech, Maciej Janowski, Mikkel Michelsen, Rasmus Jensen, Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Piotr Pawlicki.
Swedish star Kim Nilsson is named as a substitute, with Nicolas Covatti, Mads Hansen, Tom Brennan and David Bellego.
