Former SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski has been forced out of the Sportlab Cosmetics FIM SGP2 of Poland – Lodz on Friday.
The Polish star, who leads the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship after winning the opening round in Malilla, suffered injuries in the Polish Under-21 Championship Final on his home track in Bydgoszcz on Saturday.
Przyjemski won his first four rides but took a fall in heat 20 and was forced to settle for the silver medal behind SGP2 rival and Bydgoszcz teammate Maksymilian Pawelczak, who triumphed with a 15-point maximum in his home city.
Przyjemski is replaced in Lodz by German racer Janek Konzack, the SON2 bronze medallist, who was named as first substitute rider for this season’s SGP2 series.
We wish Wiktor a speedy recovery.
