SGP3 RUNNER-UP CERJAK SIGNS FOR LUBLIN

Slovenian SGP3 silver medallist Sven Cerjak makes his debut in Poland’s Under-24 Ekstraliga with Lublin in 2026.

Cerjak signed for the three-time PGE Ekstraliga champions after storming to second place in the FIM Speedway Youth World Championship Final for 250cc, under-16 riders in Prague this season.

Rated as Slovenia’s next big hope on the world stage, Cerjak can’t wait to test himself in Poland.

He told the Lublin Facebook page: "I am very proud and grateful for the opportunity to join the Orlen Oil Motor Lublin team and compete in the Under-24 Ekstraliga next season.

“This is a big step forward in my speedway career and an amazing opportunity to test myself in the strongest youth league in the world.

“Motor Lublin is a club with a rich tradition, professional at the highest level and with exceptional fans. That's why I am happy to be able to contribute my brick to the success of the team. I know there is a lot of work ahead of me, but I am ready to give my all in every race and every moment.

“I would like to thank my parent club AMD Krško, Uroš Urh, my family, team #09, sponsors and everyone who stood by me and believed in me. Now it's the time to give back on the track. I'm impatiently waiting for the season to start, and I can't wait to start in Lublin!”
