SUCCESSFUL SURGERY FOR PRZYJEMSKI

SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski has issued an update on his condition after undergoing successful surgery in Poland.

The Lublin racer suffered a first-turn crash in heat seven of Swedish champions Lejonen’s Bauhaus Elitserien play-off quarter final, first-leg win away to Hallstavik club Rospiggarna on Tuesday.

Przyjemski was airlifted to a medical facility in Sweden, before being promptly transferred to Poland for further assessment.

Posting on Facebook on Thursday, Przyjemski confirmed he had successful surgery and is already hoping to be back on track this year.

He wrote: “A small update from me after recent events … I'm already out of pelvic ankle surgery; the procedure was successful.

“A huge thank you to Dr Paweł Polak and the entire medical team for their professional help and care.

“I am feeling good and going to focus on rehab now to get back on the bike later this season.

“Thank you everyone for the many words of support – it really does give me strength.”

Przyjemski holds a four-point lead over Ukrainian rival Nazar Parnitskyi at the top of the 2025 FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship standings going into the series-closing Deluxe Homeart FIM SGP2 of Denmark – Vojens on September 12.
