Belle Vue bosses have confirmed that tickets for the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester will go on sale later this month.
Britain’s biggest speedway event returns to the National Speedway Stadium on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 for a second double-header of Speedway GP action.
Last year’s Manchester rounds saw local hero Dan Bewley blaze to his third FIM British Speedway GP win on the Friday night, before Polish icon Bartosz Zmarzlik saw off title rival Brady Kurtz to top the podium on the Saturday.
Host club Belle Vue is already working on changes to improve the fan experience for its second Speedway GP season, including earlier opening times on race days, along with a revised layout of bars and catering, and an enhanced public address system for the East Stand.
Tickets purchased for the Friday event will also offer admission to the earlier Qualifying session culminating in a Sprint Race.
Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “It’s absolutely amazing to get another Grand Prix double-header, and there’s so much to build on from last year.
“Friday’s race action in 2025 was classed as the best Grand Prix ever, so it’s going to take a fair bit to match that!
“But we’ve got the track to do it, so I’m sure we can expect more of the same. I know the riders will be looking forward to coming back here, and we’re looking to put on a great show again.
“We’re working hard to put things in place behind the scenes, including various changes and enhancements aimed at the overall spectator experience, and we’re confident that these will be well received. Supporters can expect a new food court area, as well as an enhanced public address system in the East Stand, and that’s a direct result of feedback from last year which we’ve taken account of.
“It’s also pleasing to be able to give Friday ticket holders the opportunity to watch the Sprint Race.”
Tickets for the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester weekend will be available later this month, from Belle Vue’s dedicated site www.sgpmanchester.com, and as in 2025, there will be an opportunity to purchase two-day tickets at a discounted rate.
