Former Aussie champion Rohan Tungate will race on in Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga after completing a move to Czestochowa for 2026.
Tungate signs a one-year contract after making his PGE Ekstraliga debut with Rybnik in 2025, where he finished second in the club's average charts on 1.745 points per race.
Club president Jakub Michalski commented: "Signing Rohan Tungate is another step in the process we've been consistently implementing at the club.
“We're still sorting out many organisational matters and building a structure for the future, so we're committed to making thoughtful and ambitious choices.
“Rohan is a rider whose approach and character align well with the direction we've set for the coming months. I believe his presence will help us confidently pursue the next stages of our team.”
Coach Mariusz Staszewski added: "Rohan Tungate is still a rider on the rise. He actually finished his first full season in the PGE Ekstraliga, and it's worth noting that in many matches, he competed on equal terms with other riders.
“He was, after all, the team's leader in many of ROW Rybnik's matches. I hope he'll be even more effective in the KRONO-PLAST Włókniarz colours in the 2026 season.”
