Fans can now purchase two-day tickets for Britain’s first-ever Speedway GP double-header online HERE, guaranteeing their spot at trackside for both days – offering a saving on individual tickets, which will be available on Wednesday from 10am UK time.
Having staged the 2016 FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off and Final and the 2021 and 2024 FIM Speedway of Nations Finals, one of the world’s top racetracks makes its much-anticipated debut on the Speedway GP calendar.
British fans can get behind Britain’s FIM SON world title-winning heroes Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley, while Belle Vue supporters will also be supporting club captain Brady Kurtz as the Aussie ace makes his SGP debut this season.
The club is also delighted to announce the club’s main sponsor ATPI as the principal sponsor of the Speedway GP events at the National Speedway Stadium.
Belle Vue CEO Lemon commented: “We are naturally excited to officially launch the Manchester Grand Prix events. These are the GPs that the fans really wanted, and we are delighted to make it happen.
“This is a huge milestone for Belle Vue Speedway. We would like to extend our thanks to owners and directors Tony Rice and Robin Southwell for their incredible backing and Manchester City Council.
“It is also the perfect fit that ATPI, through the continuous loyal support from CEO Ian Sinderson, should be the principal sponsor for the Grand Prix events. With all these people, it would not be possible to bring the biggest meetings in the world to Manchester.
“We believe that the National Speedway Stadium and Manchester can deliver two unforgettable Grand Prix events.”
The world’s best riders including five-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, Swedish star Fredrik Lindgren and British Rowe Motor Oil Premiership stars Jason Doyle, Max Fricke, Jack Holder and Jan Kvech will all be in action alongside Lambert, Bewley and Kurtz.
ATPI CEO Ian Sinderson, a long-time fan and backer of the club, said: “This is going to be a history-making season for the Belle Vue ATPI Aces.
“We are proud to be associated and to fully support the biggest-ever speedway events being held in Manchester. The National Speedway Stadium is the best track in the world. We are excited to see two of the most outstanding GPs take place in this city.”
