Ukrainian racer Nazar Parnitskyi’s SGP2 heroics have earned him his Bauhaus Elitserien debut season with Swedish side Dackarna in 2025.
Parnitskyi raced to the silver medal in this year’s FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship, winning the DeWalt FIM SGP2 of Latvia – Riga along the way – the biggest win by a Ukrainian rider in the 21st century.
He looked on course for victory at the series-opening FIM SGP2 of Sweden – Malilla, only to suffer a surprise exit at the semi-final stage. But Parnitskyi did more than enough to turn the heads of Dackarna’s management team, as they bring him to the Skrotfrag Arena for 2025.
Team leader Rikard Kling said: “We in the sports group really fell for him that night. Nazar has a wonderful riding style and was the top scorer in the heats in Målilla with his 13 points. Then he missed the semi-final and finished in seventh place overall.
“Nazar is a young and very serious rider who constantly strives to develop. I hope and believe that he can produce many wonderful rides in his first season in Dackarna and Sweden.”
Parnitskyi is joined in the Dackarna squad by Speedway GP star Andzejs Lebedevs, former Danish champion Rasmus Jensen, Swedish international Timo Lahti, Danish racer Frederik Jakobsen, former SGP star Tomas H Jonasson, Avon van Dyck and Daniel Hauge Sjostrom.
