Triple Speedway GP world champion Tai Woffinden returns to Malilla club Dackarna for the 2026 Swedish season.
Woffinden was part of the Dackarna team which won the 2021 Bauhaus Elitserien title and makes the move from near neighbours Vastervik.
The 11-time Speedway GP winner makes his World Championship comeback in 2026, having seen his 2025 season destroyed by a crash during a Polish sparring meeting in Krosno last March.
His move to Malilla should give him a few extra laps on the Skrotfrag Arena track ahead of the FIM Speedway GP of Sweden – Malilla on July 11.
Elsewhere, Lejonen has agreed contract extensions with double SGP2 world champion Mateusz Cierniak and his fellow Polish rider Robert Chmiel.
