WORYNA & VACULIK CONFIRMED IN LUBLIN LINE-UP FOR 2026

Speedway GP newcomer Kacper Woryna has completed his much-anticipated move to PGE Ekstraliga runners-up Lublin for 2026, with Slovak star Martin Vaculik joining him.

Woryna is set for a huge season after finishing second at the FIM SGP Challenge in Holsted in August to earn his full-time Speedway GP debut next year.

He will also make the move from Czestochowa to Lublin as they bid to regain their PGE Ekstraliga crown from Torun.

Woryna admits joining Lublin was an offer he couldn’t refuse. He said: “When I got the call from the president, I thought about it for maybe 3.5 seconds. To put it in football terms, Manchester United is calling you, and it's hard to say no.”

Vaculik completes a switch from Gorzow as the pair teams up with the likes of six-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, world No.4 Fredrik Lindgren and double SGP2 world champion Mateusz Cierniak.

A delighted Vaculik said: “I think it's every athlete's dream to ride for a strong team, and I'm happy to represent such a club. It's a huge challenge for me to show my best.”

With 2024 SGP2 champion Wiktor Przyjemski heading for hometown club Bydgoszcz in the Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga for 2026, Lublin has handed former SGP2 rider Bartosz Banbor a new two-year contract, while Bartosz Jaworski has penned a three-year deal.

They are joined in the squad by Slovenia’s SGP3 silver medallist Sven Cerjak, who makes the step up to 500cc action.
