ZMARZLIK & WORYNA STAR AS LUBLIN BEAT CHAMPS

Speedway GP duo Bartosz Zmarzlik and Kacper Woryna both contributed 12 points as Lublin took revenge for their 2026 PGE Ekstraliga play-off final defeat by seeing off champions Torun 56-34 on Sunday evening.

Zmarzlik dropped just a point to an opponent on his way to 12 paid 14 from five rides, while Woryna managed a straight 12 on his league debut for the club. Former SGP2 star Bartosz Banbor also impressed on nine paid 11, with Speedway GP rider Fredrik Lindgren adding eight.

Former world No.2 Robert Lambert bagged 12 for Torun, with Mikkel Michelsen accruing eight and Patryk Dudek scoring six.

Elsewhere, Danish champion Michael Jepsen Jensen led Grudziadz teammate Vadim Tarasenko to a priceless, last-heat 5-1 over Anders Thomsen and Jack Holder as they rescued a 45-45 draw at home to Gorzow.

Tarasenko topped the Grudziadz scoring on 13 paid 14, with MJJ adding 12 paid 13 points and SGP star Max Fricke picking up eight paid 10.
