The venue
Vojens Speedway Center
Long regarded as Denmark’s national speedway stadium, Vojens Speedway Center is one of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series’ most storied venues.
The likes of Tony Rickardsson, Greg Hancock and Billy Hamill all lifted world titles at the stadium in the 1990s and Bartosz Zmarzlik became the latest to claim the sport's biggest prize there in 2025.
Built by triple world champion Ole Olsen, Vojens was taken over by his son Jacob, who brought the FIM Danish Speedway GP back after a five-year absence in 2019.
Since then, the stadium has gone from strength to strength and Vojens made a popular return to the Danish Speedwayligaen in 2021, before winning the league title in 2022.
The venue also staged the 2022 FIM Speedway of Nations - taking over from original host Esbjerg at just two weeks' notice and delivering an incredible tournament - won by Australia.
